All your cd's on your website are household noises. Why can't I just turn on the vacuum cleaner in my house?

Our white noise is not harsh like the sound of a hairdryer or vacuum. It has been digitally recorded and noise balanced so there is a more natural rhythmic hum instead of the harsher noise of a home vacuum cleaner. Besides, it also saves electricity and the motor on your vacuum cleaner and hairdryer!

What kind of packaging do you use for your CD?

Our CD comes in a slim plastic jewel case. We do NOT wrap the CD in plastic or cellophane. We try to be green by not generating any waste that is not necessary. The CD does not have a paper label on the inside front cover and we write the label directly on the CD face. The package is shipped in a small yellow bubble wrap envelope to prevent cracking or breaking during its shipping time.

Are the CD's brand new or used?

All our CD's are pressed and burned professionally and never used by anyone until you receive the CD in the mail and play it for the first time. We never recycle or resend a CD to someone if the CD has ever been used.

Does this white noise thing really work? Isn't it just a myth?

There are certainly no guarantees that this will work for everyone. However their have been extensive studies done by accredited doctors and universities that show white noise helps soothe even the fussiest babies. We also have found that if you ask your friends who have children you will find that many of them have heard or even used this technique with their own children. More importantly if you think about the concept; that a child is very familiar with the sounds of a womb that they have been in for nine months it would make sense that the sudden change in environment might leave them uncomfortable with their new surroundings. The white noise simply mimics the "whooshing" noise your baby was accustomed to for almost year.

What if I buy the CD and it does not work on my baby?

Yes the sounds may not work for every baby out there but we have had great success and if you ask around and read some articles on the Internet about white noise you will see that there is a lot of evidence to back it up. The only way to know if this will work on your baby is to try it. If you do not want to make the investment in buying a CD and waiting for it to be delivered we recommend downloading an MP3 and playing it through your computer speakers or even burning your own CD with your computer. This is only a $3.00 investment and can be downloaded anytime, 24 hours a day. So if you are reading this at 3am and your baby is crying right now and you are ready to pass out then that is your best option.

When is the best time to play the CD?

Play the CD at naptime and at bedtime. You want your baby to associate hearing the CD with going to sleep. You should not play the CD during playtime or feeding. This will strengthen the association between the white noise and the sleeping patterns of your baby.

How loud should the CD be played?

For crying or fussy baby, play the CD at a loud setting to get your baby’s attention. When your baby starts to calm down, you should then adjust the volume to a more comfortable setting.

 

I don't have a PayPal account and I do not want to sign up for one?

There is no need to sign up for a PayPal account if you do not want one. You can use your regular credit card without signing up for PayPal or even signing up for an account on our website. Just click on the Continue link when you are in the shopping cart so you can enter your credit card information. You of course have the option to pay using PayPal on the right hand side of the shopping cart.

How do I know your order process is secure?

We only use 128 bit encryption for our shopping cart which is managed by PayPal. They perform the authorization on your credit card and when the authorization process is complete you will be returned to byebyecrybaby.com. Always make sure the website where you are entering your personal data is using encryption to secure your data. You can confirm this by looking in the lower right hand corner of your browser and looking for a little yellow pad lock like this.

How long will it take for me to get my order?

We usually ship your order the next business day after we receive it. This means the average time it takes to get your order is between 3 to 5 business days. We ship using the U.S Postal Service which has never lost a package yet. In addition we even include delivery confirmation 100% totally free with your order.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover and PayPal. PayPal is the most popular payment service on the Internet and is a subsidiary of eBay.

When will my credit card be charged?
We will not charge your credit card until your CD is ready to ship. After placing your order, you will receive an email confirming your order. When your order is ready to ship, you will receive an email with your shipment confirmation. This will also indicate that your credit card has been charged.

How quickly do you ship the orders?

Your order will be processed and shipped within 2 business days and is typically processed even quicker. Your order is shipped via U.S. Mail with confirmation shipping.

Do you ship outside the United States?

No, not at this time but we may be shipping there in the future. We highly recommend downloading an MP3 file and reading the directions below on how to burn your own CD.

How do I download my MP3 file ?

You must complete payment through our shopping cart and when you are done with payment you should automatically be returned to a page that has a link to your MP3 file. If you are not automatically returned you can click the link that says "Return to Bye Bye Cry Baby" which will return you automatically so you may download your file.

How do I burn my MP3 file to a CD?

Making your own CD is a great option as well. You can download your MP3 file by right clicking on the link for the sound you have purchased and choosing "Save Target As" Then you will be prompted to save the file to your hard drive. You can choose a convenient file location such as your Desktop or My Music Folder. Then once the file has finished downloading, you can use the CD burning software installed on your computer to burn an Audio CD. Every program is different but generally the same rules apply. Some popular CD Burning Programs are Nero or Easy CD Creator Once you start the program choose the "Make Audio CD" option and you will be prompted to point to a file. Choose the file you downloaded from us and when you are ready choose "Make/Burn CD" If you have any questions about the process we would be more than happy to help. Will my information be shared with anyone?

Absolutely not! We appreciate the fact that you have chosen to shop with us and value your business. We do not sell your information to any third party organizations. More importantly, we do not store any of your information on our servers. We are using PayPal to process our payments and they manage the transaction and also do not store your information.

Can I return my CD?

Yes, you can return you CD within 15 days of purchase. However, there will be a 15% restocking fee and there will be no refund of the shipping charges to return the CD.
